Hi guys!

As it’s only ONE MONTH away from the Australian Grand Prix, I’m going to put this blog on slight hold, if that’s alright with everyone :) Might as well wait until the 2012 season to start this up again.

So don’t go away, I really have been astounded at the support this idea’s had! See you in a few weeks :)

Gryffindor:Michael, Sebastian, Felipe, Fernando and JB, I’d say.
Slytherin: Lewis, Adrian and Pastor.
Hufflepuff:Felipe, Mark, Timo and Heikki.
Ravenclaw: Nico Hulkenberg, Nico Rosberg, Vitaly and Paul.
I’ve got the two for Felipe, but I think he’s got a mixture of both…

FERNANDO IS PURE SLYTHERIN. Checo Pérez might be Ravenclaw, after all from what I’ve seen and heard this season he seems to be a pretty smart boy, as well as Jaime Alguersuari… and Rob Smedley, not a driver but DEFINITELY a Ravenclaw. Felipe is either Hufflepuff or Gryffindor, he’s a mix of both xD”

Which drivers would be in which Hogwarts houses?
OK I won’t do all of them, too long, but I’ll do a few :3
Seb would be in Ravenclaw. I thought at first about Gryffindor, because obviously he’s brave and everything, then I thought about Hufflepuff, because he’s staying loyal to RBR even though he could probably go to Ferrari next year. But he’s so intelligent and thoughtful about everything he does, one of the reasons he’s champion, he pays attention to detail. And he’s so clever with the press and the media, not in a sly way, but in an honest and careful way, which I love about him. So Ravenclaw it is.
Mark would be in Gryffindor, instantly thought of his overtake in Eau Rouge last year. Insane.
Michael would be Slytherin, not because he’s particularly evil (although idk aha), but because of his sheer determination and ambition. You can’t win seven world championships without a fuckload of ambition.
Jenson would be Gryffindor, I think, the Canadian GP last year would be a reason ;p
Ayrton… Argh, difficult. Same with Seb, I’d think about Ravenclaw because of the attention to detail and everything, but still, he was probably the bravest driver ever, so leaning towards Gryffindor. asjdhjehr difficult
Bruno, Hufflepuff, because of his silly optimism and inability to be serious. <3 He’s hugely loyal to his family, even though they sort of destroyed his chances of getting into F1 before he was 24 (although I don’t really blame them for banning him from karting after everything that happened to them). He was stupidly loyal to LRGP even though they fucked him over a lot and gave up on him.

Honestly, it’s a tie for me between two of Ayrton’s greatest races. I’d choose either:
(1) His first World Championship win in Suzuka, Japan in 1988. Not just because it was his first WDC, but because he stalled on the grid at the start and had to fight his way all the way back from 14th place like the fucking badass he was.
(2) His first win at home in Interlagos, Brazil in 1991. Because he lost 4th gear, then 3rd and 5th, barely got the car home stuck in 6th (you can hear his engine nearly stalling on practically every corner), and did it in the rain, and it cost him so much physically he passed out just after crossing the finish line. A feat of strength and passion on that level was amazing enough to watch on TV as a kid, but I was quite young, and more importantly, I can’t even imagine what it would’ve been like to be a part of the Brazilian crowd during Ayrton’s first ever home win. It must have been absolutely insane.
I’m honestly not sure which I’d like to see more. Interlagos may just edge Suzuka out, because even though Japan was absolutely bonkers over Senna too, nobody got the Senna chant going like his home crowd, and that would’ve been beyond amazing.

If you watch one race live in the whole of F1 history, which would you choose and why? Doesn’t have to be exact if you don’t know a specific date, time periods/years will be just as fine.

2005 Japanese Grand Prix.  The best race of all 832 Grand Prix that have been held.
