If you could have any job in F1, what would you do? (Driver is of course an option, regardless of talent!)

I’m having a bit of mixed feelings about this one. On one side, there is so much I want to change, and in order to make changes, I should be the next Bernie Ecclestone. You see, Formula 1 has always been about racing to me, and oh, how I wish the CEOs of the sport felt the same way. If I were in charge, I’d feel it’s my liberty to do all that is within my power to make the sport as enjoyable for the watchers’ as possible. Formula 1 is a spectators sport, always has been, and they are trying to take all the wonderful racing away from us, making it all about the money, threatening the fans and the race organisators with excluding our favorite races from the calendar, if we don’t pay up. I would feel unbearable amounts of guilt and shame if I found myself doing this.[oops, got a little carried away there. damn emotions.]On the other side, knowing how well I can’t cope with such excessive amounts of political (?) power, I’d want to be something more humble, yet vital to the race cars’ performance. I’m thinking engineer. I don’t know much about the technical aspects of a formula, only the very basics, but I have all the time in the world to learn and if you put enough of your concentration at it, you are bound to have a bright future ahead. I’m particularly interested in being the aerodynamics guy (*cough*girl*cough*) or hydraulics and engine. Okay, that’s me dreaming, but, hey, we’re all allowed to!
