See, I’m torn on this one. On the one hand, I’m such an inherently competitive person that being a driver seems perfect. It’s a real test of your skills, and everytime I hear someone describing how difficult it is I just sit and think, “Challenge accepted.” On the other hand, being an engineer would be amazing. Without engineers, there’s no car, and the driver doesn’t have a job, so ultimately they’re the backbone of the entire team. One mistake on their part, and the whole car could be ruined, and while I would never want to work for any team as unbearably anal as McLaren, that attention to detail appeals to me. Plus, being an engineer would mean that I was actually good at Physics, which would be fantastic in itself!
