If you could have any job in F1, what would you do? (Driver is of course an option, regardless of talent!)

I would love to be a pit mechanic on an F1 team. Opening up an engine cover and being able to tinker around with that kind of technology would be like opening up a Christmas present as a child! I’ve always had fantasies of being in the pit crew as a wheel gun operator. Just sounds like the life for me. being the unsung hero of the team since races are won and lost in the pits.
But since I don’t have enough technical experience on cars, I’m just trying to pursue a engineering career in motorsport, Formula One being my ultimate goal. I watch the races more for the physics and engineering side of it than the actual racing. I’ve always had a thing for wondering how things work so being an engineer on the pitwall would be a more realistic job for me. It may never happen, but it’s something to work towards.
